Ms. O’Shesky grew up in Michigan. Before earning her bachelor degrees, Julie worked for Ford Motor Company for five years and worked on the line at several plants assembling vehicles. After leaving Ford, Ms. O’Shesky briefly moved to Virginia where she was a State Trooper. She moved back to Michigan and attended Madonna University where Julie earned a Bachelor of Science in Paralegal Studies and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
Once Ms. O’Shesky graduated from Madonna University in May 2011, she moved to New Orleans to begin law school and attended Loyola University New Orleans College of Law. While in law school, Julie joined many clubs, including the Criminal Law Society, Association for Women Law Students, and Federalist Society. She participated in the Trial Advocacy program. Julie was on Loyola Law Review. During her third year, Julie participated in the Prosecution Clinic and worked in the Orleans Parish District Attorney’s Office, Juvenile Division. Ms. O’Shesky graduated in the top ten percent of her class and earned her Juris Doctor, Civil Law Division, in May 2014.
Julie O’Shesky was admitted to practice law in the State of Louisiana in May 2015 and may practice in all the state courts within the State of Louisiana. She was admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana in August 2015. Based in New Orleans, Julie is involved in a general practice of law, including areas such as: automobile accidents, first party insurance claims, criminal defense, traffic court, contract disputes, successions, and employment and labor disputes.
